Masterbatch is mainly used in plastics. Masterbatch consists of three basic elements: pigment or dye, carrier and additives. It is an aggregate made by uniformly attaching an extraordinary amount of pigment to resin, and can be called pigment concentrate, so its colouring power is higher than that of the pigment itself. By mixing a small amount of masterbatch with the uncoloured resin during processing, a coloured resin or product with the designed pigment concentration can be achieved.
As the colour masterbatch industry thrives, our PE milling system has gained insights in grinding colour masterbatches. The finished powder has good dispersibility and is good for dyeing and final moulding.
